More importantly than what it sounds like, how loud is it compared to stock?

i have this tbe..you will need to bang it slightly around the acd..no biggie though..also you may need to add washers or "adjust" the sway bars as after a month or so the exhaust was rubbing on the front sway bar (the closest one to the cat). i have had this on my car for 8 months and it has been great..no issues and it sound great. for 300 bucks you cannot beat it..

you don't have to bang anything i here the same from a lot of people but i think you guys are doing something wrong. it was really basic bolt on you simply take off the sway bars that are near the down pipe after the install i put them right on. maybe if you start from the down pipe first everything would go into proper position at least it did for me.

Do you have VIII and an IX? If so, then you can probably afford to buy a decent exhaust, why bother with this ebay crap?

there is absolutely nothing wrong with the ebay exhaust. for 300, it is excellent value for money. a minimum bend 3" constant ID ebay tbe vs. a 800 3" tbe w/ constant ID, will flow the same, unless the 800 tbe maker has some "secret" to bend the law of physics

How is it crap?

I paid 1/4 of the price of what other ppl are paying for a full exhaust.

Its sounds amazing fits perfectly and I saved so much money.

[QUOTE=Jeff_Jeske;4351287]Yes I have this exhaust and it fit perfectly. The only issue I had was the lead exhaust donut gasket was too small for the O2 housing so I reused the stocker. The exhaust is 3" straight through and sounds decent but is very loud. It appears to hang kinda low by the rear axle but I am lowered and have a steep driveway and I do not scratch. I actually got mine from CXRacing but its the exact same thing though CXRacing has lower prices. I got mine for $280 shipped.

i don't no why yours touches the sway bars mind makes it with out touching it by a good amount and mine is a ix

when installing on my car started from the downpipe and moved back. the only thing i can think of that may have caused interference with the acd and sway bar is the fact that i am running a stock cat?? otherwise i have no clue why it did not fit without slight modification. its good now though and for 300bucks seemed worth it..
