Making a leak tester

I've done a search and there was a thread a while back linking you to how to make a boost leak tester. Thing is that the link had the wrong size OD radiator hose for our size turbos.

My question is, what is the OD that I will need to fit around our turbo's inlet?

Thanks.

It's roughly 2.5" The Fernco plumbing couplers are sized for schedule 40 or similar PVC/ABS pipe, which has a wall thickness of about 1/4 inch. So a 2" ferco would have a ~2.5" ID. It's flexible enough to make it work. I haven't built one with a fernco for the EVO, but I'm betting this will work.

I just use a 2" plumbing coupler from Lowes and it fits snug over the inlet

Roughly, like I said. I add that disclaimer because the Ferncos are flexible, if you get a 2.5" silicone coupler, it's not.

You can make it out of any pipe the size of the turbo inlet
