4th gear gone
As I am cruzing down on the freeway at about 60mph accelerating to 80 to pass traffic i hear that grrrrrr and since then I have no 4th gear.
All other gears work the same way. Does any one had simmilar issue? What does it take to fix it???
ideas, thanks

Chances are you broke the gear. Usually if its a syncro it will grind, but eventually pop in. It could possibly be the shift linkage, but that remote at best, as it would probably effect other gears as well.
Your best bet IMO would be to send the tranny off to someone like Sheppard racing and have it rebuilt. You can find used trannys, but they will usually cost around the same as a rebuild and you will not know what your getting.
As a side note. If you did have a gear grenade on you thats means theres shrapnel (gear parts) floating around in your tranny. Eventually they will wedge themselves where there not supposed to be and cause much more damage, in turn upping your rebuild cost considerably. So if your planning on going that route, I wouldnt drive the car.

Goodluck.
