thoughts on weapon R intake manifold?
I just purchased the Magnus myself, and will be putting it on in the next few months so we'll all have some more data. The Weapon R and the Magnus should be in the same ballpark, numbers wise.
Really?
at least all 4 runners are of the same length vs. oem. let alone that the air-horns are of a decent design, albeit a small eliptical flare, but very effective....much better than the mitsu hurdles that are placed within the oem plenum..
i have seen far uglier intake (dyno dev. only) set-ups make great power on the dyno.
i look forward to putting my weapon-r, rewelded, fluffed & buffed manifold on my evo & conduct some logs.
i agree, this manifold is nowhere near as sexy as the ams unit, but i feel the weapon-r manifold will get the job done within the rpm range that i plan on twisting my oem rod bolted engine along with my fp-grn.....i cant wait...but have too
