WHY I Will Make 400awp on the EVO GREEN on PUMP!!!!!!!
People need to learn that not all aspects of turbo characteristics can be measured on a dyno. The amount of time it takes for your turbo to get to full steam when in 3rd gear at 3500 rpms in 2 psi of boost is something that the dyno cannot tell you or give you any idea of what to expect. It's tough to decide what to go with because all cars are different and its nearly impossible to find every exact setup you want in your area.
The green is for great low end tq like the stock turbo, with similar spool up charactersitics but a ****ton more topend.

a 2.3 stroker and a green is the setup i plan to run in the future when i have the money.
you would think it would be a good autoX setup with the turbo spooling so fast on the 2.3l
cant wait to here the numbers man.
are you going to tune for race gas too or only pump?

^ again define broad, I know I am being nit picky but to be honest a 35R will make "power" from 4k to 9k where as the green will make it from 3k to 6k.
What would you rather have? It's all about where you want that power to be. Yes the Green will spool up quick but it still tapers a lot up top. The dynosheets of the highest hp green drop 225 ft lbs of tq between peak and redline, thats a lot..
The green is so good because the HP continues to stay high unlike the stock turbos which lose out there too without the huge extra lag.

hmmm...ive been thinking of getting an evo green for my ix, with the few mods i have i put down 340. i was thinking by swapping the stock turbo for evo green id be near 400, a little too high i guess.
Me too. Seriously comptemplating it. I was going to save up for an AMS 50 trim or 30R -- but then started reading up on the 20G-LT.
I could give a rats *** about HP numbers really, BUT I do want a 10 second car. Other than the mods you see in my sig, if I do the FPG,
I'll be porting the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, adding S1 cams, and of course the 20g. You guys think that will get me at least in the 10-11 second range on 93 pump (assuming I'm not an asshat driver)?

I think it will be possible to hit 400awhp even with 91octane, but I wouldnt put money on it since every car is different.
While the stroker is not going to increase the top-end power, what it is increasing is the low and midrange torque (thus also increasing low and midrange horsepower).
What I think people havent (or maybe have?) been noticing is the Green is usually making max power right where the stock turbo is, thanks to the big torque it makes. Most people are making PEAK power at around 5800-6500rpm... not 7000-8000. The stroker is going to have better torque (and horspower) at that midrange spot and thats why I think the stroker is going to improve the numbers on this turbo.
Straight pump gas sucks. Going the methanol route was the best thing Ive ever done. I was so skeptical about it but now that I have it, I cant believe I waited. 30psi everyday...

Here's my setup minus the stroker. Run#3 was on racegas mixed with 93 . Run #2was on straight 93 pump no knock at all it made 361 . Run #1 was a diffrent tuner's flash that knocked like crazy. This AL Dynoflash tune was great.
