The injectors are not going to help with the PO300 code.
And different plugs won't help either.
Something else is the cause of the code.
Some say is the transmision. In my case is the Tilton Clutch.

There are several OBDII scaning tools you can use to clear the code real quick
after it comes up.

MSD has a nice new unit out, Linear Technology has another one out. Or, you can buy a code eraser from your local Auto Part for around 45.00~65.00.

Good luck.

some ppl say that changing injectors has helped them with the code and haven't had the cel on again. so i just wanna give it a try.

As for the plugs,i dont even know when was the last time they were changed since i bought it used n i've put 19,000miles on it. so its time to change the plugs anyways.the car now has 40,000 miles on it

Buy a 'C-Reader' OBDII reader from Ebay and leave it plugged into the ODBII port.

Problem solved.

As for the plugs, NGK BPR7ES plugs will work fine for you. These are the stock heat range.

You will need to "Scale" the injectors into your ECU, and it won't fix the problem. It is vibrations in the clutch that give me mine. Save your money, thank us later.

EVOs come with irridium plugs. Most of us swap them out for coppers since they make the car run better IMO. Youll just have to change them out often. I switched from BPR7ES to BR7ES and have not had a P0300 in 12k miles

Changing the injectors will have about as much as effect on the P0300 as changing the power steering fluid.

Did you get some new plugs and gap them tightly? NGK BPR7ES or BR7ES gapped to .023-.026 will work great.

thanx

Just ordered some BPR7ES from lancershop.n these are not gapped.

in the meantime got some plugs from shucks auto which were pre-gapped to .28 n haven't had the light come on for the 30miles that i drove afterwards.

EDIT: 50miles in and the light came on again
maybe i'll have better luck with the plugs gapped to .23-.26

I HATE THIS CAR BUT I LOVE IT MORE AND MORE EVERYDAY
