Help Installing Exedy

I am putting an Exedy in my car and am having a small problem. I have the transmission bolted up but I cannot get the throw out bearing to click into the pressure plate. Since I have never installed a stock type clutch I am not sure how this is supposed to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Shad

ok sounds like you might have poped the retaing clip out look through the inspection hole and see where the retainer clip is. if not un bolt the transmission and remove the pressure plate and the release bearing and try and get it to lock in place out of the car you might see that the retaing clip is getting stuck on the back of the release bearing. if so see if the ring on the back half is bent or out of wack. if so you can call exedy and they will send you a new one. i recently did the same the difference is mine was in the car and it popped the ring in the back.
