Evo owners with/without a catalytic convertor

Taking in some info of Evos with or without a Cat. want to know about people who had one on theur 3" turboback and then went with a test-pipe. I want to gauge how much quicker it was with the test-pipe, either on or off the track. thanks in advance to any response

No cat here... Switched from a high flow to a test pipe on a buschur tbe.

I can only verify what my butt dyno said...

Feels quicker with a little better spool and response.

You only need to drive better to hit 11s - 115mph is plenty...

As for the test pipe vs HFC, it's a well-known fact that you will gain 10whp or more by switching to the test pipe. You don't need a poll to learn that, bro. Just search for 5 minutes.

The poll is a concensus of who has a cat or not....A 5 min search isnt going to tell me that

It's a $90 question. How strict is your state's emission?
And I concur the cat does rob some power.

You'll spool quicker and be much louder, and the exhaust will also be much hotter when it comes out of the tail pipe, beware of burnt bumper if not careful.

I tried exhaust systems...

...with the stock cat...

...with the UR HFC...

...with the Randomtech HFC...

and now i will try a testpipe... the only problem is that probably i will like it too much and i will keep it... we 'll see...
