Evo Ix Mr Need More Power ?!?!
Evo Ix Mr Need More Power ?!?!
I have a 2006 Evo IX MR...yeah its clean too.. but that besides the point. I need more power. Keep in mind i am keeping the stock turbo. I currently have a HKS Racing Suction Intake Reloaded. DC Sports Downpipe. Greddy TI-C Catback. Changed tranny oil to BG Synchro Shift II Transmission Fluid. Installed 2-Pc. Shifter Bushings. I ordered a Hallman RX Manual Boost Controller. I heard you can't push the car past 20 PSI on stock fuel pump and stock fuel injectors. What does everyone think i should do to get more horsepower? Lower Intercooler Piping? Aftermarket Intercooler ? Cams? Please help! Would appreciate it !
I also have a stock clutch and flywheel. Whats good rpms to drop it at? I dont really wanna change the clutch anytime soon either? Whats safe? 4000 RPM or take it to 5000 rpm rev limiter and risk Fu**ing something up???

i dont care about street legal, i want the most power out of a stock turbo and stock internals. just seeing what my options are. probably gonna get gsc s1 cams, cam gears, intercooler, lower intercooler piping. run 24 psi with 104 race gas. and do a full tune. Im allready illegal without cats. and i live right next to ams performance. so i think thats what im gonna do from what everyone is recommending ! thanks guys...
walbro 255 fuel pump
arp headstuds
cams (cosworth or other)
test pipe (if you don't already have one)
SS o2 housing
alky injection
and lastly, a TUNE!
That should net you a solid 60-80whp, no problem!
