WTB? Tired of ACT

I need to know what to buy clutch wise as it seems I am getting grind going into 3rd and 4th on the drag strip when car is being ran hard. Its really killing my et's and Im very frustrated. I have the act street disc and pressure plate. I think its the 2600? The clutch is fine under normal driving operations, but has been getting worse and worse grind wise on the drag strip.

I have heard to go with an unsprung 6 puck and stock pressure plate, is that good? The clutch pressure isnt nearly as big of a deal to me as getting rid of gear grind. I just want something thats on or off period so I can get back to shifting quick. Any suggestions on a change while staying under $1K would be greatly appreciated.

Check out ACT's new 6 puck. It is supposed to be much more streetable than previous 6s. I have no experience with it and I don't think it's been out long, but the few reviews I've seen have been very positive. But first, you might want to look at a damper or upgraded motor mounts. I have new mounts, but haven't had time to put them in yet. Every review I've read says both improve high rpm shifting.

The 2600 is the old DSM one. You likely have the ACT HDSS, which is a 2900# pressure plate.
