New turbo kit.

I was doing some research on a possible project car and came across this:

http://www.boostlogic.com/xcart/prod...&cat=54&page=1

They are big in the Supra community and it looks like they are going to branch out to the Evo community as well.

Precision Turbo, Ceramic Coated Tubular Manifold, and V-Band downpipe for a decent price.

My question is who's Evo is that in the pic?

I guess not every Evo owner frequents evom.

yeah i looked at it and it looks really interesting....and for some reason i am liking the 44mm wastegate over the 38mms that usually comes in other kits.

44mm isnt needed unless you are running a bigish turbo on low boost.

However like you I went with a 44mm on my new setup because I didn't wan't to worry about ever blowing a gasket, the V-Band alone justifies the price, along with the fact that the 44mm will support a larger turbo :0

Looks like they are offering a Dual Ball bearing 50 trim option and a 61mm turbo which is basically a GT35R.

+1 -> for this kind of infomation. 50trims are weak and for the price a 20g lt passes this up for quicker spool, better ETs and close to similar power. I've yet to see a 50trim run 10s, prove me wrong but I did search. I'm debating a 35r or 3065- I just wanted some facts on this turbo if anyone had any.

That is actually my Evo 9 with the Boost Logic Turbo kit. I just got my Evo running last Friday and so far I'm only tuned for 10psi of boost. All I can saw so far is that the spool up is very good and I can't wait till I'm tuned for 22 psi! If anyone has a question feel free to pm or give Boost Logic a call at 512-371-9960 and ask for Kean. Tell him, Louie sent you

Didn't Shearer make Turbotrix's manifolds?

Or have they started making there own.

Nonetheless, it's a nice piece.

I know Shearer made TT's manifolds on there early 50-trim kits; I know somebody that has one of TT's early 50-trim kits.

This is before they switched to AGP turbos.
