Just a random idea. Has anyone added a bottle or two of HEET to their tank when filling up? I ask because its 99% meth. Might be a good way to get a little bit of det resistance for trackdays. Or maybe a slight bit of power, who knows?

If you have tried it or think it would be a bad idea let me know. Its just one of those things that popped in my head and I wonder if it would be feasible or not.

 

slighly off topic, but I have been reading up about nitromethane which is you cannot combine with gasoline. You can mix it with meth. There is another alternative though. Nitropropane which does combine with gas. Just thought I would throw that out since you are considering experimenting with fuel.

 

adding HEET will lean your AFR in open loop, up the octane/latent heat of vaporization

really depends on the ratio of gas/HEET...
