I looked at a DIY for installation of a boost controller but seems to be a little iffy to understand for me. Is there another write up for installing a boost controller on our cars?

Hallman Pro RX boosting @10psi

Just put the hallman Pro RX on my 05 Evo and I went from peaking @ 20psi (using the factory boost controller) to 10psi. Is there something I missed? Do I have to get the ECU flashed to override the factory BC?

Everything is as it should be as far as the vacume lines.

Any help with this would be awsome.

It's kind of trivial but... did you turn the boost knob clock-wise?

Thumbs up still boosting at 10psi

The stock BCS is capped (ran line from one inlet to the other)

Original MBC setup was WGA to MBC to a T on the BOV line.

Just tried a different setup... still 10psi. WGA to MBC to Intercooler piping (next to WGA)

I have turned MBC all the way up and back down, this had absolutely no effect.

do I need to put the heavy spring in my MBC? I'm running the light spring setup for 5psi above stock.

You will need the heavy spring if I remember right. The light spring was for lower boost cars.
I forget, I installed mine so long ago.
also, you will be bypassing all the stock boost controller lines, and DO NOT reuse those lines, because they have pill restrictors in them.
