Exclamation quick question about wastegate install!

I'm almost done doing my manifold, o2, new mbc, and wastegate. Quick question, when installing the wastegate to the hotside, do you install it with the flapper open or closed? thanks!

Think of it this way. The WG arm pulls down on the WG flapper pin. You are supposed to preload the WG arm by tightening the turnbuckle far enough that it cannot go onto the flapper pin in its lowest position, and you have to pull it up with a hook or apply pressure to the WGA nipple so that it can seat on the flapper pin. When you let go, it pulls the pin tight and remains "loaded." I can't remember if that puts the flapper in closed or open position, but it doesn't matter, because there's only one way it can go when there's preload.
