Oh wait, they're out of business

Both shops have quality parts and great service, search and you'll see.

Hell we have both squeezed out over 1000 crank hp out of a car or two. We have both also managed to make an Evo VIII run in the 8's.

That being said, those two facts shouldn't weigh too heavily in making your decision. There are many other factors which apply to you more than those.

If you are deciding between ourselves and Buschur, you have obviously done your research well and are on the right track to begin with.

This whole argument comes down to only a couple things for me....and HP is not one of them. Both of these shops put out vehicles of about the same HP and times--and both are arguably the best in the business.

From my experience and reading on this forum:

BR's parts are generally less expensive and AMS' parts are generally more expensive.

BR's parts aren't pretty, but they work. AMS's are high quality AND they work.

BR's kit's aren't pre-assembled, and the packing of items being shipped has been known to be on the shoddy side. AMS's kits are pre-assembled, come more complete, and their shipping is known to be much better.

Certain BR designs have been known to be a little more trouble, for example the LICP and the slip fit TBE--but this various from one person to the next. Haven't heard, seen, or had any complaints on the AMS designs.

BR doesn't tell you where he sources some of their parts from, in some cases they will blatently refuse to tell you when asked. AMS's sources are known and there are no secrets in what you're buying.

So from my research, experience, and so forth; although both shops put out the numbers and the times...it comes down to quality vs QUALITY. Part of your decision making process should not only be HP, but what YOU value the most--be it pricing, craftsmanship, customer service, after sale experiences, looks, sound, compatibility with other parts, etc.

Look around the forums, look at both websites, talk to both shops on the phone. You should also converse with people that have run parts from both shops, not just parrot pouch possie members who are so brainwashed that even baby jesus couldn't help them (and that goes for both sides of the coin).

The only reason we do that is to cover each others drinks when we go out after the races. j/k

There is a very good relationship between BR and AMS as everyone knows. They are a good group of guys and are also very good competition! Both of our shops push each other to get to the next level.

As it was said previously numerous times..... you wont make a bad decision to go with either shop.

ya it really is a toss up...

to make my decision was that buschur is alot closer to me and their price was a little cheaper being that they can reuse some stock parts and dont replace unnessisary parts

Good point. It was because of BR that I went with the FPgreen instead of the AMS 50 trim. The also said the stock header is actually one of the best compared to other stock setup replacement ones.
