HELP!!!!! With my IX

Hi Drivers

I need help with my evo 9, something is wrong with my "baby". Yesterday I drove to work and park the car as usual (here comes the knightmare at least for me). after work when I started the car The RPM was up to 3000 and won't come down even after warm up; and today the same thing. I looked arround and everything seems to be in its place and all plugs connected, I don't know if Iam missing something it happened out of nowhere.

HELP please.

Mods? Check the throttle cable if it is stuck or adjust it. Also you can lower the idle on the throttle body.

Check to see if something is blocking the throttle plate from closing. Pull the upper intercooler pipe off at the throttle body and check...

Have you messed with anything latley? Where the throttle cable mounts to the bracket behind the valve cover if those botls are messed with you can tighten the cable which in turn will hold the butterfly in the TB open causing your idle to be high like that

I was wondering if this could be caused by the EGR; if so where is it located?

It's got to be a vacuum leak.
