EGR CEL code

Hi all. The other day I was driving and my CEL came on. I went to autozone and it came up EGR has insufficient flow. I called turbotrix and they had told me that sometimes a vacuum line will pop off and it will give this code. However, I have had those lines pop off before and it never threw that code. what is the EGR and does it get clogged over time?

Thanks, Josh

Its a hose under the intake manifod on the driver side. Stick your hand under the intake manifold around the black hoses and you will feel it loose...Its easy fix, zip tie it bc mine used to pop of daily
