new gt35r setup with stock ecu

ok heres my new setup stock motor. Shearer gt 35r stock ecu , 1000cc injectors, sun hyperforce ignition stock ecu, smc alky kit, hks 272's. Is there anything im missing to run this turbo at 30+ psi and make over 500 hp, i heard of a maf translater is that necessary and cant i just remove the screen in the maf so it doesnt suck through.

I made 554 awhp and 416 awtq with a stock short block, stock ecu and stock maf. That was at 29psi and 110 octane. And there are alot more 500+ awhp Evos put there with stock short blocks...

Well, you wouldn't use a big turbo like this without using meth/alky or race gas. It's a big waste of money. You make low power with very late spool.

I think Smogrunner has a fix for that or info regarding it. Might want to contact him about it.. I forget what the fix was really composed of.

i see, maybe not a good option for me then as i dont want to have to build the block up, i know a few locals run gt35rs on build blocks on pump but like 30psi or over.

They are not running 30psi on straight pump gas on built block. That has nothing to do with it. You need the higher octane gas so you wont detonate the motor. I run about 22-23 psi on pump, I could run more boost but I would have to pull to much timing out.

they do overhere, race gas is like $180 for 5 gallons here so hardly anyone uses it especially for a daily driver or road car.

Wow, where do you live? 110 octane is only $6 a gal here and c16 is $9. That would be $30 for 5 gal of 110 and $45 for 5 gal of c16.
