my transfer case began whining a little while ago.id like to upgrade to a shep t/c but in about 2mths im going to cali for training and then leave and then off to iraq ive heard.so i dont think its neccessary to buy all that ive im not gonna possibly drive it for a year or so..

now whats the worst that can happen?i dont track the car,no autox,just daily driving and some highway pulls.

could the t/c just give out while driving?let me know thanks
