Upper I/C pipe and MAF pipe from Buschur

What gains do you think one would see if the upper I/C pipe and MAF pipe were replaced by Buschurs setup? Is it all show and no go?

3" MAF pipe

2.5" upper I/C pipe

Of course the pipes will be polished, these are protoypes. They also use the 1G BOV.

What do the people who sell these parts say? Did they actually test them with a chassis dyno? I have not seen any test result claims so far, so I am only guessing here, but I would think the gains are very small if any. Unless your going for major power upgrades (big turbo, etc), the stock pipes look like they flow just fine.

We'll be testing them to find out.

I've read that the MAS pipe is not good to install without an AFC. It causes HP loss becasue the MAS is intaking too much air. Forgot which shop dyno'd it.

I've got an S-AFC and other stuff. I think it would clean the apearance of the engine quite a bit, and would hope on some gains.

I would assume engine responsiveness would be helped at least a little with the I/C piping.
