oil light blinking?

I did a few track days recently and after I finished and came back to the pits, the oil light started blinking while I was idling. It was not on while I was driving and after I turned it off for a few minutes and then back on, it was fine. But it happened after each session. Oil level is full and nothing is leaking. Any one ever have this happen?

Search, this is a common problem. Did the problem go away after your engine cooled down? Your oil might have been so hot it thinned out and registered less oil pressure at idle. Also, what was your idle engine speed? Was it lower than usual?

I'm that friend. Turned out to be a faulty oil sensor. Replaced under warranty. It would flicker when I was idling but never while driving.
