No issues at all. The majority of people gave me the same advice when I first was looking at doing this a couple years ago.

It also gave me a warm and fuzzy knowing my mbc was controlling the boost from the one place it originates

Cap off the port on the MAF pipe. No need to cap off the 2 ports on the BCS. Leave the electrical harness hooked up to the BCS.

I will drive around like this and pull some logs and then i will try the other way
from BOV.
Easy to do now that everything is in place.
I will post my findings back here With MAP sensor logs

is your boost stable on the BOV line any issues?
The FP outlet pipe doesn't have a nipple on it so I went with the BOV line for now. I don't have any problems with it as far as boost stability, but when I switch back to a stock Evo9 outlet pipe I will go back to using it at the boost source.

I have a hallman going to the bov and wastegate and I'm boosting 21 solid with no fluctuations all the way to redline, spools quicker too and pulls harder than the other way I had it coming off the turbo

I hooked up my MBC to the wastegate/turbo housing. Car has fast spoolup, will spike at 23 and hold 21-20 to redline. Every other car I have hooked up a MBC to I did the same install with the same results.

Not...

BOV line is not a pressure source once the throttle is closed.

so you have tried both methods buddy?
if that is the case i am definenatly gonna go the other route.

installed the forge with the stiff spring and the dumb *** forge wont boost anything lower than 25-26 psi on it's lowest setting, had to remove stiff spring and install the lighter spring.

I boost to 22.75 (peak) and taper down to 18.2 psi t redline.
