Do not buy from "Late Apex"

I purchased his so called "full race kit."

Let me tell you what a complete nightmare working with his has been and let me tell you this "full-race kit" is a piece of complete ****!

1st, ad advertised, this kit comes with everything needed to bolt up and run on "your evo 9." Well that was completely wrong.

I open the box with the kit in it, the dump tube is completely destroyed and the down pipe has a hole. The studs on the turbo housing are completely destroyed. Also the 4" intake that came with it didn't recirculate the bov.

(had to get welded and dump tube fixed) - 45 dollars

Getting into installing everything. Nothing fits, the so called "full-race" downpipe hits the acd and both bars underneath (even with washers). The stock radiator fan of course does not fit. The primary o2 sensor needs to be extended. The coolant lines for the turbo that he provided do not fit at all. To top all the problems I overcome d. I cannot tighten the waste gate. I tighten the clamp all the way down and the wastegate still spins.

I was very mislead with this transaction and there isnt anything I can do about it.

Just remember this Late Apex, what goes around comes around.

Did you try to get your money back once you opened the box and saw all that stuff arrived "completely destroyed"? That alone should be reason for return and refund.

Have you tried getting in contact with him to let him know your dissatisfaction? That would be my first step.

I had just bought those "bearly used" silk road coilovers. he said the were revalved. no coilovers should be revalved with less than 2K as he said was the milage. well I got them and it looked like they were put through a trash compactor or somethin. so I opened the box and they were pretty beat. one of the camber plates is damaged and there is a bolt missing that secures the adjustment knob. they are pretty scratched up.

now I did ask for pics and they were from like 6 feet away so I couldn't tell. even from close ups I wouldn't be able to tell they were damaged. he did not show pics of where the missing bolts are. smart on his end to pull one like that.

so I have tried contacting him over and over and I never get a response. i'd like to have my money back cause he clearly didn't sell as advertised. or atleast send me money to send them back to japan to be repaired cause they are not repairable in the states. I will have pics later.

Yes he is very shady, he told me "your stupid and get a real mechanic to install everything"

american express told me i would have trouble getting my money back.

Ive had to modify just about everything to make everything fit..

Im finally almost done (3 days of work) , just need to get the correct intake.

Are you trying to use the stock ECU? If so, give Full Race a call - they should have an intake that will work for you.

That's true, Late Apex.....what goes around does come back around. I hope God punishes you for your evil doing! I'm sorry to hear about your frustrating events.

I hate un-honest people. I of course, like to hear both sides of the story before I make a final decision on what happened, but clearly, so far, it seems like this is a terrible deal, & I would make another claim through paypal.
