Good job picking parts. Ported manifold, Ebay 02, and ported turbo will help it breath the best. The only thing I think you wasted your money on is the EGT tap.

?? You dont gasket match the exhaust port runners to the gasket. you do match the exhust mani to turbine housing, via the turbine housing gasket.

i applied the same porting technique used to port the parts on my car, which netted the power numbers below.

the numbers may not look very high, but they are on 91 octane with a evo8 16g.

the previous highest 16g turbo'd whp that have been dyno on @ yimis' was 336 while on 91 octane.
OK

Are you going to run alky? Boost creep might be an issue on pump gas with those parts.

Ditch the upgraded actuator unless you plan on boosting 23-24 pounds and up all day. I was running the 18psi actuator and it was the cause of the boost creep. But with it properly adjusted the creep went away. I have since switched back to the stock evo9 actuator and couldn't be happier.

I meant assuming since he had the EGT tap, he bought an EGT gauge, and I think thats a waste. I didnt mean the tap. That would be like $5 anyway

You realize WOT built and tuned race engines for the last 15-20 years, right?

Does anyone else feel this will be an issue. I plan on runing 20-23psi but that will all depend on the tune (ECU flash).

The guys at RRE said a EGT gauge was highly recommended. I have boost and oil pressure already. The egt was purchased months ago but i havet used it yet.

I havent found any numbers with a 2.3 and Green however I believe 400whp and maybe 375tq is possible. That is my goal
