Question What supporting mods are needed to run a 20G-9LT turbo with 93 oct & meth @ ?? psi ?

Hello...

I may be interested in purchasing a FPGreen turbo from Buschur very soon. I currently run 93 octane with methanol injection daily. I have all the basics such as the Walbro fuel pump, one-step colder plugs, larger FMIC, etc.

What other supporting mods will I need to run this turbo safely at high psi?

Also, what psi is recommended with 93/meth on this turbo? I'm worried about my internals and want everything to run safely. My internals are stock besides cams and head studs...

Let me know ASAP!

Thank you!

The ones listed in all the other 20g-LT threads.

Your internals can handle far more power than this turbo can make even at the max.

Even if the turbo is pushing 3x psi? I am not worried about the power being made. I am not sure if you can "push too much" psi that can damage the internals...

I have searched by the way. Ive been in this game for awhile. I just couldnt find any definite answers. Links?

Amount of psi isn't the issue - it's the amount of power. Plus, I don't think you'll be running over 30psi anyway. Remember, this is a modified stock turbo that tapers similar to a stock turbo.

The links are all over the place. There's a 20g-LT thread everyday to the point that it's pretty common knowledge now what you need. It's just a stock-based turbo, man, so you just need a little more fuel supply. This is not a big turbo upgrade that requires major changes. That's why it's so great. I know you've been around the "game" for a while, but you still make threads asking to be spoonfed. You've been relying on people to tell you how to mod your car for over a year now - it's your MO...

search for "dadriva." His setup is pretty much perfect and he's gone 10.8 in the 1/4 with his green.

Very good. I was never sure if high PSI could blow an engine or affect it negatively. I know high HP can though...
