wow, you guys scared the crap out of me, reading about the head gaskets then water pumps and freeze plugs blow out got me all freaked out, I found a little puddle around my radiator so im getting a new one just wanted to let you all know its not a head gasket but thanks for all replies.

are you positive that the disappearing coolant doesnt return to the resevoir after the engine has cooled off? When the engine is warming up to op temp the system may take in some coolant from the resevoir. Only then to return the coolant to the resevoir when the engine cools back down.

Only check/top off your coolant on a dead cold engine IMO.
