Same company, different. It doesn't matter to me. No need for us to fight about it (not that we are!) but I know they are seperate companies. They may, of coarse have some vested interest in eachothers companies so we will say same company just to get back on topic.

All interested, the 3037 and 3037s DO require some mods to fit the USDM evo. Not alot (shaving here, shaving there) and I am almost certain that you need a special downpipe made for both.

The Greddy turbos are awful. The manifold in the kit is ok, but the wastegate diaphragms do not last a long time at high boost. Note that these are actually the same as Audi wastegates, which means a much cheaper replacement part than Greddy.
.
Hey mate, I have just brought an Evo 6 and a few weeks later had it duel tune e85 & 98, and found out my Greddy diagram is beginning to leak.
Could you please give me more details on which Audi diaphragm suits these waste gate. I have tried to research it but came up empty handed.

Cheers

Too funny. Ditch that ancient POS Greddy Turbo and look for something modern

I am aware there are better turbos out there, however I can't see the point ditching something that is working. My Greddy turbo setup is fine and made 271Kw atw on E85 18psiwith a leaking diaphragm in the waste gate and running a slightly rich tune (track use). And that is about the limit of kW to be made on stock bottom end safely.

The reason I was asking the question is if I change the external wastegate to say, a trial or Turbo smart, I will have to cut my Greddy manifold and weld a matching flange to suit new wastegate. From my experience this can lead to constant problems with the manifold cracking.

So I was hoping someone knows what Audi wastegate diaphragm suits the Greddy one?
