I throw the same code only at Idle....Idle is not to rich either, sits 14.7's or so on the wideband. I can clear it out and drive it, and it will not come on till I sit at idle for a minute or two, I just kind of ignore it.

Yep, "closed loop". Check your boost/vac leaks and clean your air intake and MAF sensor. I'm doing the simple stuff tommorrow. If you do the same, post upi and let me know if you're still getting the PO172...

I have, I run a GM sensor so its fine...No leaks either

well guys im having the same problem sputtering after 5000 rpms, i have chaged out the fuel pump/mass air/and fpr . car deff drove better with a clean mass but i didnt solve the sputtering
