Yeah, this thread hurts my head. I can't believe some of the suggestions. Pretty much everything sucks in this thread, so we need to start over. Real quick, the problems I see:

- The most important mods for being at the top of your class are driver mod, suspension, and tires
- An upgraded or modified turbo doesn't put you in the "big leagues" unless you're referring to SM as the big leagues. So you know, cams put you in SM anyway, so you'd already be there
- Alky/meth injection is not allowed in any SCCA events

That's just the beginning. Tell me what class you want to be competitive in, and I can help you spend the money wisely.

Shouldn't have to upgrade his drivetrain for autocross. He should only have to worry about the clutch.

First of all forget about a manual bost controller. just spend the extra money and get a good electronic boost contoller. the beauty of this on mine is I wanting a daily driver but something on the weekends like you. This will allow you to have a high and a low boost set up. low boost for DD on 93 octane at 23-24PSI and high boost on 100 octane at 27-30PSI this is what me and a couple of my friends are running and its the best. with the green and the right tuner you can put out easily 450WHP. I have seen it done several times. here are the mods I would recommend to you. I am into the stock appearing look so you may not like this setup.

FP Green
S1 cams
780cc injectors
TBE
LICP
Ebay o2 housing
HKS DLI II
HKS EVC BC
Ported Exhaust manifold
Samco intake tube
JESTER TUNE
FORGE BOV
ACT 6 puck clutch
10.5 pound alminum flywheel

You don't need an EBC for a high and low boost settings - that's the LAST reason for spending extra money on an EBC. The Forge UNOS is $85 and has clicks on the knob, so you can easily switch between your boost settings in mere seconds. You get EBCs for other reasons, not that...

Those mods will not help him in autox and are not good suggestions. Not sure why people aren't listening. I DEFINITELY don't recommend the ACT 6-puck. Jeez...

...you can do this with a MBC also, dont waste 300+dollars for something stupid like a EBC.

Helping would entail making suggestions that help for racing in something other than a straight line. Power is the least important factor in autox/circuit among the big 4:

- Driver
- Handling
- Grip
- Power

Your suggestions were ONLY for power.
