Major accident threw p0335 and p0340 codes

Alright this is exactly what happened. sorry but you will have to use your immagination on this one because no pics will be provided. I was driving along a 2 lane street on the right lane goin about 40 in a 35 and I see this suv braking on the left lane in front of me and turning his signal left. I'm thinking this guy doesn't know where the hell he's going becuase just to his left is the divider. So I decide to pass him and as I'm passing him on the right lane (he's still on the left going super slow) I see he's wanting to turn right into a shoping center so I speed up to pass him quickly and just right when I'm passing him he suddenly turns right into me. He hits my rear wheel on the drivers side as I'm passing him going about 50 mph. So I start going sideways for about 80ft or so and the car wants to go into the divider on the left so I fully correct the wheel all the way to the right. If you can immagine as I'm going sideways I'm thinking I'm going to flip and the car just continues to turn to the left. I end up hitting the divider hitting both right wheels at the same time and the car ends up *** end on one side of oncoming traffic and the front end on the other opposite end of oncoming traffic.
The thoughts that were going through my mind when I stepped out onto the divider where "WHAT THE (*@K just happened!?" Okay so the end result is that both of the wheels on the right were totally bent like national lampoons european vacation when clark hits the english dude on the bike as well as the one on the left where he hit me. Also the passenger door was toast as well as the whole rear suspension bushings and control arms.
This whole wreck caused 2 trouble codes and I couldn't start the car for like 20 min after the accident. The codes were the p0335 crankshaft sensor and p0340 camshaft sensor codes. My guess is that the impact shook the engine bay hard and caused it. After limping my car off the divider with the help of some people, I started the car up and I actually drove it home but I didn't notice any noise from the engine and the light turned itself off. The claims estimator said that the total damage was 11,000 dollars including a new door, the whole rear suspension with bushings and control arms and struts including 3 brand new enkei wheels with toyo ra-1 rubber. Parts labor paint and body work and the engine diagnosis. Oh yea and the frame had to be bent back on the door where he hit me. Surprisingly the tranny, diffs, drive axles and the engine were all OKAY! This car is incredibly strong and what beatings it has taken have amazed me. Just wanted to let you all know. I have probably beat this evo more than most and this accident topped of the thrashing. HA! I krissen thee evo! You are now officially broken in!

Oh yea and ask for the guy who hit me. It was a high *** cholo confused as hell as to where he was going. To top it off he didn't have insurance.
I wanted to break his torso in two and throw his face on my knee. But some angel came down from heaven and held me back and calmed me down. So I just broke his nose instead. What's funny is that his cholo girlfriend screamed at me and told me it was my fault. That cholo got his though because he had no license either. Just in time for that new insurance law too cuz he had none. I still ended up paying for the deductable. Damn it!

Was he leaning like a cholo too? You know you can take his lame cholo *** to small claims and sue him for the deductible you had to pay

I know I would.

Sorry to hear.
Similar thing happened to me just recently. Elderly person comes over from the middle lane, cuts me off as if i wasnt there in the left. I honk the horn, she panics and slam brakes and i lose my 4" intercooler and head lights and radiator. Bumper, fenders, upper rad support.

Just glad the turbo and everything else is ok.

No insurance on her part either.

That is why everytime I see these dumb*** drivers on the road doing stupid things like that I try to choose between passing them or just staying behind and to the side of them until they regain conciousness.

If I decide to pass them, I hit them with my high beams and honk my horn until I fully pass them so that they don't try to do the same thing they did to you and I have learned my lesson about that already when some dick almost hit my eclipse for deciding to turn left and do a u-turn at the last minute while I was in the left lane!!!

Well, as for a law suit against him. . . for one he has a criminal record and debt up the ***. I got all the information from my lawyer. I would sue him in a heart beat but I do believe he has it much worse than my 500 dollar deductable. As for the new cali law on the insurance I believe they take your license away for 1 year and a fine of up to 1,500 or more on the first offense of not having insurance. His license is already suspended and from what my lawyer tells me he is a 4th waiver and a felon. So you could immagine what penalties he had to pay and jail time of course. So yea I decided not to give him any more of a hard time just cuz' I have a good heart. Although I do feel that broken nose of his is payment enough for me . Anyway I saw my car at the shop the other day and WOW! It looks brand new! All new wheels and tires, fresh paint, a whole new rear end including bushings and suspension. they even went as far as fixing the holes in the trunk where the wing used to be which was a total surprise! now I have a clean wingless evo with no HOLES! YAY!
