Changing HID bulbs??

I think mitsu made it difficult to change the bulb on purpose....
You see, if a bulb goes out, they want YOU to go back to the dealership to buy the bulb AND have it installed there. This way they earn more money....
I bought bulbs for my evo too, but knowing you have to take out the front bumper and stuff, i'm gonna wait. Now that i think about it, its not too bad, at certain angles the light comes out purple. I also drive with my foglights on

Are you F--kin kidding me??!!!! There's no way in hell I'm replacing any freaking bulbs, if you gotta take off the front bumper!! That's just a freakin waste!

I have done this many times on several cars equipped with HIDs.
It is not as difficult as it seems...
You just need to have the right tools and one hour of patience to do it correctly.
However, I discourage messing with something completely functional merely to enhance its appearance.

Well if you're gonna change the low beams get some blue/white high beam bulbs (9005 is the bulb number)...I got some and the difference is REMARKABLE at such a low price (about 20 bucks)

Are you sying your going to change a HID bulb with the high beam bulb?? They are totally different.

Yeah I changed my high beams and foglights without removing anything except the power steering reservoir..
