No a wedding DJ and Emcee. I (we) spun records - (yes those things) and then later CD's
"And now, please ride to your feet and help me welcome, for the first time anywhere, the new Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jones"
That kind of gig - it was a lot of fun back in the day. I also did night club gigs also - that was the most fun.

Why do you think that your times were off before? I have seen 10.'s 150MPH+, so what did you change to finally get a pass consistent with your traps? Do you think you can hit 8's with your current setup?

My progress with the car has been multi steped
My plan to date was to do one thing at a time
The first goal was to get a reliable engine which could hold the power and a good tune both of which I got accomplished through Buschur Racing
Second step was to dial in the suspension
Third step was to set the no lift shift and the anti lag
Fourth step was to get a progressive boost controller
After all those were set up and in play it took a few passes to dial in the car and get it to work the way I wanted
Many people may recall at the recent WRX vs EVO shootout I did about 15 60' launches in a row adjusting the two step and anti lag
I got 2 passes at the last race - Summer Slam at E 'town - on the last pass I felt I had the car dialed in but missed the 2 - 3 shift with a 60' 1.48 time I knew it was dialed in
Anyway - I now have all the R & D and development done and thus as long as I dont go changing turbos or big parts then I wont need to make any more changes in the set up
The bottom line is that I have little free time to invest in going to the track and dialing in the launch and suspension
The car has gotten to the point that it is unsafe and highly illegal to run it on the street other than just crusing about - full wot passes on the road are not an option
Given the limited time I have available, the progress may seen exceedingly slow but I am making steady progress. The tracks are so far away from my area and there is so much traffic that a test day is a all day affair and it has been hard to find time to go testing the Evo. Most of the testing I have done has been at race events.
A lot of time was spent reviewing data logs and bouncing ideas off of David Buschur who is a genious when it comes to
I think the car will go 9.2 - 9.3 with ease on a clean pass as it sits
I dont think I will be making any further changes or trying to go any faster with the car as the speed is enough for my needs at this time (which I did not ever think I would say) Honestly its a fast ride now that really gets your attention when its on boost
