I know the tooth fairy has a set, and is set to do a race against the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause....EB is running Cossies, but Santa has the HKS's as well, should be a good race!

I don't think they're actually out yet, but will be in a week or so. Of any cam available for the IX, its the one I'd run based on successes I've had with other HKS 4G63 cams.

So they are basically the same if not a tad less power producing than Cosworth and GSC.

did you guys test it to see what the cams alone gained for the car?

and what kind of dyno is this? dynojet?

with drop-in filter, o2 housing, licp it's at least 350whp on pump gas...not bad....

hmmm cossie or hks...

^^^^^^^^^people annoy me. A DYNO IS A TUNING TOOL, NOT FOR HARD, ACCURATE NUMBERS. DYNO NUMBERS MEAN NOTHING, unless back-to-back comparasins are done on the same dyno, the same car, the same day, and even then you still havent isolated all of the variables. Evolved members should realize this by now...

Geez! 5 sets and we don't have before/after dyno results yet? The world needs to know some solid info about these mythical cams!

that's why he asked if they had tested the cams alone to see what difference they made which is what a dyno is most useful for.

Why? The Cosworth cams have more lift for more power.

they need to dyno a car thats fully tuned with tbe intake mbc since thats what most people have. Then drop in the cams the same day dyno for a base then tune it again.

so theres a before, untuned and after.

That'll end any questions and arguements...

The more mods and boost the better the results, that way we have a worst case senario. instead of putting them on a big turbo car where they pick up 30-40whp on a stock turbo car theyll make 1/2 as much.

Cheers!
