My IX won't start!

i've had the front of the car on jack stands for about 2 weeks and the last week i pulled the upper ic pipe, battery and ecu out. i needed to start it today and my friend was over with his ix so i threw in his ecu and cranked, nothing. tried again for maybe 10 secs nothing...... only thing i could guess was his ecu wont work in my car or sitting for 2 weeks with the front up in the air drained the fuel to the back..... how much cranking though should it take to get the fuel there. little confused any answers?

if im understanding your post correctly... to took the ECU out of your friends car and put it in yours... if in fact this is what you did...this would not work because the immoblizer code of your buddies ECU would not match your key's code...and you couldnt use his key b/c your ignition would not unlock with his key.

What did you do to it while it was on the jack stands besides the batt and stuff?

Assuming everything is back on correctly I'm guessing it is because your car will not work with your friends ecu

Im pretty sure his ECU will not start with your key. Your key needs to be programmed to his ECu

If you have to use someone else's ECU, maybe you could try holding his key NEXT TO the ignition while using yours IN the ignition...
