Congrats man, hope you like them. 8 hrs? Granted I haven't swapped cams in my evo, but I can swap cams in the Talon in less than 1 hour.

would 20 minutes by highway be too far? I just ordered a 10.5 hotside 02 housing and some comp 280 cams and am considering doing the installs myself to save about $600. But i would need to drive a ways to get it dyno tuned.

Just don't got WOT with the car, even under slight part-throttle boost your car should be fine.

Just finish my install of BC 272 today, me and wife did it. Its not hard, it just takes some time. Make sure that the timing is right after install. I ran into that problem.

I had the Cosworth 272 cams installed in my IX. I only felt a increased mid-range power nothin in the lower or the top. I used supertech dual valve springs and retainers. Along with ARP head studs. Idle is slightly rough, but kinda cool. Check out my write-up. I definately expected more power.

Great job with the pictures. I swear whenever I start working on the Evo, I promise myself that this time I'll take pictures and do a writeup. Sadly, after the second picture, I get too lazy.
