Question question on cams

i have a newbie question...after installing cams does it cause the car to take a little longer to start? like a slight delay compared to stock? and is it normal? because my friend's evo has this delay currently...i might be buying the car from him but im unsure yet. any and all input is appreciated!

It may idle a bit rough depending on the type of cams used but like it says above, the car should start up right away. You may want to have the car checked out.
