im in some sort of a pickle.. im definitely getting cams but ive been stuck on getting either the gsc s1 cams or the hks 264/272.. its a daily driver and i dont want the pain of having a problem with it during traffic and such.. and the most im planning on modding with my car would be to the point of an evogreen turbo or a 50trim.. with possible meth.. please helpp me!!

also the hks cams would be used so itll be around 350ish or i would get the s1 cams for 520 shipped... please help

 

Just go with the GSC1 or Possibly GSC2

 

Are your car already mod? I think there are a lot to do before getting cams!
Get a water injection and more PSI!

 

why would you get water injection before cams? hmmm, i would say go with the s1 over the 264 272 combo.

is this your first mod? first get a TBE and fuel pump, then get cams so you can up the boost to 25 or wherever you want. Getting cams only will do you no good man. look at your compressor map to see where you wanna be

 

I prefer water injection because it helps to get safety more PSI, and to my opinion (but may be I am wrong) some PSI will be more efficient than cam...

I agree that Cams are a very good way to get HP but most of all with atmospheric engine, Turbo engine offer better ways I think. That's why I will go 1st with WI and then with cam.

 

i have hks 272/272 cams for daily driving have no problems.....
