Klunk sound out of car

I was wondering if you guys could help me figure something out I got a weird sound coming out of my car.

It only happens when I start moving from a stop. or a very slow roll and it's right when i release my Clutch. and I can sort of feel it through my clutch pedal
It's kinda of a clunk sound. I tried recording it however my camera does not have a stronger enough speaker to pick it up (digital camera)

I have no odd sound or feeling between any of my other shifts (2,3,4,5)
No sound when it is not in gear and you just press the clutch pedal.

Any one have any ideas? Please and thank you

EDIT: i have a exedy twin disk

Its pretty typical from what Ive seen. Sounds like metal on metal? Like youre tranny's gonna fall out? Do a search, and you will find TONs of threads talking about it. Probably just the tranny taking up slack. Try running 1st out a little longer, and I bet it goes away, it seems to help for me. When Im cruising through my neighborhood, and early shifting, it is more prominent.

it is probably the differential or lsd in the front. I notice that too but not all the time. I thought it was my drive shaft but after checking it there is no play or boot leaks or anything. if there is slack in the drive shaft, the boots will crack in time and have a leak but mine seems to be fine. next guess would be the mivec since it is oil driven(?) but that seems too remote. I called mitsu about it but when I brought it to the dealer, I couldn't duplicate it except once. well, I let them know that this occurred at 14,000 miles and on stock clutch they better warranty it down the road.

Check your trans mounts. Torquing up the drivetrain from a dead stop will take all slack out of the mounts. Excessive slack in the mounts can cause your problem.

I had a similar problem, ended up being a loose mount. Check into it. Mine was the rear.
