ACD lights when hot only

lately all 3 of my ACD lights have been coming on only on really hot days and only in stop and go traffic. most of the time it's fine but not always. fluid level is fine. yesterday, for example, i drove ~200 miles straight to upstate NY, no problems. then i started driving around town, bit of stop and go, stopping and starting before fully cooling, lights came on. i would just take it to the mitsu dealer but given where i am the closest one is not close. does it just get too hot and turn on the lights to let me know i can't switch its setting?

from what i've found on here it basically means "Problem with ACD." the most common cause is low fluid but others have found their pump on its way our or a wiring harness loose. as long as it doesn't mean "ACD is going to eat itself and cost me $3000" i'm ok with the lights being on. i don't know if that's the case or if other people have experienced the lights coming on only when it's hot out

All three lights is the ACD computer equivalent to the check engine light. No way to tell what it means (unless you have the ability to pull codes from it), other than the fact that the ACD doesn't like it.

Go to mitsu and see what they say. Although that might be a worse idea..

if they were closer i would. it's 40 miles each way to the closest dealer which is a PITA. if it consistently returns i'll have no choice though
