I literally just made a post about ebay intercoolers not even a week ago.....THEY'RE JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My EXACT wording.....Dude there's NOTHING great about an egay intercooler theres not even anything good about it. There all total rip offs, there all junk and there all so innoficent you might as well be running the stock one.

You dont need to change out the intercooler until you makeing 400+whp....I just went 11.9 at almost 115 stock intercooler and all stock piping. Anyone that tells you that you need to change it is full of $#!T. save your $ or put it in one thats accually going to make power. I have no plans on changing mine for a while yet. Im probally someware in the neighborhood of 360whp. Mines going to have Nitrous (about a 60shot) and Alky injection first. Should make almost 450whp stock turbo, thats before the intercooler.
If you buy one for God's sake dont buy an egay intercooler, its a waste of $.

It bothers me so much to see people take a car, and it dosent matter what it is, and do absolutely pointless mods to it.

I know the one you have is damaged, its just the point that if your going to put an egay intercooler on it, thats not the best way to spend $.

Now do u have the turbo xs fmic installed on ur car if so did u get any gains from it. cause i already have the injen upper ic pipe and i was going to get the lower one with the evo green turbo. and ive been trying to find a good fmic and not have to change my upper ic pipe.

There are only a few outstanding FMIC's on the market, that's a fact and I will not list mine or anyone else's.

You sound like you want something cheap to fix the car and don't care much about the gains. I don't think that's a good way to look at it but if that's your thinking you may as well buy anything and pocket the extra insurance money as the stock FMIC is more than most upgrades.

Also, the stock intercooler is NOT GOOD and NOT GOOD for up to 400 whp by any means. For 05evors to tell anyone that is well, bad advice. Our stages are set up so Stage 3 is cams and intercooler and by then you definetely need an upgraded intercooler.

i have a turbo xs fmic, it okay, i am suire there are others out there that are better, but i dont know if the cost/hp is better...

here is my turbo xs review
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=227201

btw, a lot of core/fin config's come out of ebay....some people swear by them while other swear @ the them!!

if you go ebay, get the ams 17 row copy & be certain you can exchange it if the core & fin config doesnt look as expected.

otherwise oem is ok too....you know it fits!!

imo

good price, cool design, dont know what the core looks like inside; due to my laziness for searching, the top support looks weak & is welded on, end tanks are not impressive to me...buti am just a evom .02 cent fool

show me some comparison data?

fwiw, its a decent deal, especially since they claim you can run the oem splash guard.........does that mean oem undertray?

if your determined to buy from ebay...then this is better than what you want>>>http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-05...spagenameZWDVW
but remember i didnt say this is the best... its just better than your first choice in ebay because it has more cooling tubes and bolt on! or Just save money and buy the Buschur or ETS!
