Forget even those, I just want to see a test between the two most popular, the Cosworths and the S1s. There are people on both sides saying each is better and make more power yet there is not 1 back to back test of them.

we have not dyno tuned each of them to see a difference but we have installed the s1 and tuned them and also installed the cosworths in sevral evo9's both cars had very simular mod's. The s1's are ok but the cosworths are great. we have felt the difference between the two and my vote is cosworth.

From what I have been told from certain very knowledgable people is that the cosworth are a little to aggressive for stockish turbo. On a bigger turbo and higher RPMs I have read the cosworth to be better. On stock turbo however I have seen higher dyno number, more torque, and quick spool. Just food for though.

I think CBRD mentioned doing a back to back test but has not done it yet.

While it is nice to get the opinion of shops that have installed both I can't help but feel they are just trying to sell whatever they have in stock at the time.

I haven't been sold on any of them. The guys with cams really aren't proving to be any faster than the fella's on stock cams and a good tune. I'd like to see a thread started that shows before and after dyno graphs of 9 cams only.

Its tuff to decide as there are plenty of good things being said about both sets of cams. I have yet to hear someone say that they dont like one.
