I've installed a turbo on my Evo a couple of times, w/o removing the manifold. But, I was wondering if it's possible to remove the exhaust manifold without removing the turbo. I'd like to port my exhaust manifold but I'd like to do it with as little sweat and bother as possible due to my old age. Too lazy to search as well Thanks

EDIT: Will I need to unbolt the O2 hsg./DP from the turbine housing?

When we installed my ported stocker, we left the turbo just sitting right where it was.

Yes. It can be a ***** and takes a little muscle, but it beats removing and installing a turbo. No need to unbolt anything but the nuts and bolts connected to the manifold itself.
