possible to reuse heat wrap? what if i soak it before removing?

possible to reuse heat wrap? what if i soak it before removing?

like the title says.. is it possible to reuse header type heat wrap if you soak it in water before removing?? it is not silicone coated.. AND I ALREADY SEARCHED AND FOUND NOTHING! LOL

Just don't inhale as you remove - that stuff gets into your sinuses and trote precipitating cold/allergy symptoms

^^ thanks for the advice.. reason i ask this is about a month or so ago i put a new downpipe on and wrapped it and now i need to take it off and get a UEGO bumg welded into in and dont wanna spend another 50 bux on header wrap if i can re-use it. i fugured you probably could as long as you dont try to take it off dry...

job completed! heat wrap was EASILY re-used when re-moistureized and made the job a sinch!
