Wideband reading question

I just installed a wideband and under WOT it goes down to 10.6. I have my ecu flashed and when I had the narrowband in it would stay right in the middle(stoich). Since I have put my wideband in it goes down into the 10's. I thought that 12 was ideal to run under WOT. I did not change the setting on the wideband I left it on the first one and its the one from AEM. Can someone tell me what A/F ratio you are running with your wideband. Is this normal or is something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated, THANKS.

10.6 is normal for an unflashed Evo. thats wierd that the AFR's are that way even after you were flashed... who did your flash?

I have my AFR's set at 11.4

12:1 is on the not-so-safe side... you may get more knock at that AFR.

EDIT: I have the Innovate LC-1, and will never use any other AFR meter...

Who tuned your car? I have a few friends tuned by a big name on the boards finally got a wideband and was running very rich like yourself. I would ask your tuner why your so rich.

I am not to familiar with the AEM. Can you free air calbrate it? I know I can with my innovate

^so a mail-a-flash?

they usually make the AFR's VERY conservative, so as to not blow up your car...

not surprising. Now that you have a AFR gauge, start logging your AFR's and all the engine parameters, then contact Al about finalizing your tune. Changing things to make the most power...

if he does anything like that...

^the mean best tq is around 13:1...but youll blow a few rings if you run that lean...

stick to the 11's. 11.4 to 11.8 somwhere around there...

youll get the more power, and less knock.
