GT30R questions

First let me start by saying I'm a big fan of the search button so please spare me the flaming. I did search and the problem is that there is to much info...my head and eyes are hurting from reading so much I've gotten to point that I'm starting to get lost and need to get some stuff straightened out, so please

So I'm looking to upgrade the turbo in my car, and I can't decide what I want, but I also need to know what is available. I was really leaning toward the FP Green, but I don't want to make the mistake of going to small. I have a few friends here in town that are upgrading there Subis and I'll be damn'd if I'm going to let a Legacy GT with a GT30R beat me So that is what has me thinking about going with a 30R of some sort myself. I just don't know which one to get. I'm on the stock motor with all bolts ons including cams, and have an HSF-5 aquamist kit on the way and plan on spraying 50/50 mix. I just need a turbo / turbo kit, and injectors.

So one question is, can someone please list out the GT30R turbos that are available for the Evo in sequence from smallest to largest including flow per min. I would also like to know which one of the turbos has the fastest spool characteristics. If you could point me in the direction of a vendor that sells the different kits I would appreciate that as well. I know of some of the kits available by Buschur and AMS. I know Buschur sell the 3065 and a GT30R kit, but what are the specs on the Buschur GT30R turbo that is in that kit? AMS is nice, but a bit out of my price range. I would appreciate any suggestions, dyno charts, or any other supporting data showing the different characteristics of the different GT30R turbos.

Whatever you do, don't get a 3071, because it doesn't flow anymore air than an Evogreen. The 3076/3037 and the 50-Trim are better options than the 3071. It really depends on what you're gona do with your car and what sorta fuel you'll be running.

The Green should get you into the mid-400 HP range with pump and alky. The 3076 and 50-Trim will put you at about 500 with alky. The 3065 is a Big Boy.

Look into ETS's kits. They have many options and one of my favorites, the 57trim, Although no numbers out yet it should put down more hp then a 50trim with out the lag of a 35r. Search ETS turbos but we're all still waiting on numbers. I'm actually waiting on my kit and will post my results soon after if you can wait.

I've considered the ETS kits, but like you said nothing has been proven from their kits...yet.

I'm running the Apexi RX6 kit with a whole crap load of bolt-ons and a built 2.0 with a little head work. I currently make 449 awhp and 376 tq @ 21 lbs. on 93 octane. I have the SMC alky kit but it's not installed (I had it removed a year ago when I had the white rabbit), I may put it back on here shortly and turn up the boost a bit. It's kinda laggy but not as bad as a 35r of course, and so far I like it.
