Quickest spooling stock turbo

I've read this thread https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=33433 and I would like to know which is the fastest spooling out of all of the stock turbos? I have a 2.5l V6 TT engine in a Legnum VR-4 and I'm considering running two TD05's, but because I'll only have 1.25l to spool up each turbo I'd like to have the fastest spooling option out there.

IMO the TME 6.5 TD05 is gonna be the fastest... But that's just from research I did when I was going to get a new turbo on my Evo.

My friend is spooling a pair of TD05H-16G on a RB26 GTR. He get boost onset around 2300 RPM and full boost at 3500ish. He is putting 550 to the wheel. He only has .1 litter on you so should be compairable.

TME on a stroker motor will be your most responsive combo.........but i dont' think it'll hold much power up top.........

just hook up 50 shots of N.O.S. You'll have instant spool up.

VW??? WTF??

Google Legnum VR-4, or even better have a look at https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=289653

NOS is out of the question I want to drive the car everyday, and a 20g is just bigger which I don't want.

I sold my JDM RS TiAl turbo, or you could have been happy with it. As a practical matter, a TME with a 9.8 hotside should be plenty spooly enough. If you have an VIII then do some HKS 264's or 272's and set the cam sprockets to +2i/0e.
