Unhappy Help!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok i need some help trouble shooting my evo. When i slam on the gas and the rpm reaches 5 to 7 my car starts to strugle to get power. the car starts to jerk mildly... At first i though it was the gas since i had just filled up the night before. but i put new gas in today and drove it about 20 miles then tried slamming on the gas again. Still getting the same problem. I can gradually clime up to 5000 to 7000 rpm with no problem, it's just when i push down on the gas that the problem ocours. I have taken it to the dealer and they can not figure out what it might be. they think it is either bad batch of gas or possibly my clutch. I have gone through a clutch so i know what it feel like when the clutch is slipping i also just installed a new hks type 1 turbo timer but i don't think that could cause the problem i'm having.

slipping clutch would rev super fast but not move the car any faster.

maybe fouled plugs.

YOu haven't given us a good description. What is happening from 5-7k rpm? Is it sputtering, stuttering, falling on its face, hitting a brick wall, making any noises? What? And is it 5k or 7k? That's a huge gap. You need to tell us EXACTLY what is happening.

My first inclination is that it's a case for Bat-Talon to solve...

+1. Also are you throwing a CEL at all? It sounds like it could possibly be your MAF, but it normally happens as soon as you hit any sorta boost.

The car is boosting fine in the lower rpm and if i gradually take the car to 5000 rpm. it's just when i give it to much gas. i have hks type s spark plugs model number is 5408-S45G i just got them installed about 6000 miles. the problem i am having would fall under stuttering. the car seems to boost fine until i give it more gas then in the 4 to 7 thousand range now the car starts to stutter like it's struggleing to get power. also when this happens my exhaust starts to give out a low hum. i tried looking to see if the rpm was skipping around during the lose of power but it stays were it's at leaving me to believe it is not the clutch.

i have had this happen to me to before. I inspected the hose with my hand but when i get home i will pull it off and see if that could be the problem cause the system is similar to the upper intercooler pipe.
