(Sinister laughter)All I will say kazoo is that we are going to new 2004 new models introduction soon,I will bring back some info and Pics
I hope you are implying that you know something that is coming from Mitsu that will improve the clutch for 2004, and intend to share that with us after it is "officially" announced at the introduction.

Even better a service Bulletin that will allow 2003 models to upgrade to or even be replaced under warranty.

No need for Sinister laughs though

I stated before in this forum that the clutch is achilles heal of this car. For $30K a car with almost 300 ft/lb. of torque should have better.

I think mitsu intended for the design of the stock clutch to be this way. Any AWD system is going to cause ALOT more of a strain on a drivetrain in general (especially in a high powered car). If our cars were RWD or FWD, I could see the reason for a stronger clutch. But...if something doesn't give (IE wheels or clutch) The tranny is going to take a major beating and thats even more $$ to replace.

But I can also see the point that just maybe, the factory disc is a bit on the soft side.
