EvoVII Taillight Install

I just got mine in today, but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet. I want to do it when I get home, but is there anything special I should take note of? There doesn't seem to be a write up for it in the how to section so I'm asking here. I saw the short blip on vividracing.com about how to install it, so it seems self explanatory. Just wanted to double check first before diving into it.

Just unscrew 2 screws and pop them out. The rest of the taillight is held in by plastic anchors so with a little force the whole assembly pops right out.

Ebay. They went for $255 + $65 shipping. Pretty good deal compared to most other places in the US.

Damn it must be nice. My Subaru required that black tar sealant stuff layered up to get a good seal around it to keep from having water leak into the trunk.

try to be delicate lifting the trunk liner and be careful not to lose the two-piece plastic studs (i'm sure there's a proper name for those) that hold it in.

also, i am retarded and put the retainer clips for the plastic anchors on the wrong posts, and didn't realize it until i went to mount the lights and the outside side didn't lock into place - don't do that, they are a pain to remove.

Yup. Install was just as easy as Shahul explained. I'm tired now but I'll have some pics up tomorrow.

Don't remove any of the trunkliner! There is no need.
