installed evo 9 turbo, mr02, and ams tb

my car just seems to keep giving me problems these days anyways just installed a slightly used evo 9 turbo, ams turboback, and a megan 02 housing. guess what? i'm boost creeping like ******. had to turn down my hks evc V down to like volume 20 and yet still running very high boost. at first i was questioning if it was creep or not, but i just stepped out a moment ago and shut off the EVC. i know wastegate pressure is about 13 PSI. floored it in second gear at around 2-4 K rpm it stays at around 13. however 5 and above it jumps to 17-19!! that kinda confirmed it for me. i've already done hours of reading on 02 housing boost creep, but i'm having a hard time being 100% due to all this stuff i installed at once... from what i see most of the 02 housing users that suffer from boost creep get theirs off ebay.. i got mine straight off megan's website. everything looked good to me, welds, etc... debating if i should try adjusting the WGA or if should just rip the 02 housing off (really really don't want to as it's a PITA, but will do it as last resort) what ya guys think?

What boost gauge do you have, and when you said you turned your boost controller down and got high boost levels, what did it hit?

I have to run my forge manual almost all the way down for pump gas... I also have a tubular o2... if you think its bad now just wait till you replace that plastic dv, at least on mine it made me have to turn the controller down even more, seems to hold better at even pump gas boost.

Its the o2 housing. I had the same EXACT problem after i installed mine. I was running wg pressure and it was creeping to 18-19 psi.. It only does it during cold weather thou. I have no issues at the moment

Im confused how some people get the creep and some dont. I think some of the Ebay 02s (Megan, Helix, etc) are inconsistently made. I think some have smaller wastegate holes cut out in the 02 housing that do not allow enough air to flow through it. That would be my guess.

is it? i've read some of your threads, wasn't that problem fixed after they cleaned your boost controller?

yeah i agree that some are inconsistenly made. but my wastegate hole is DEF big enough. it's not one of the tiny ones that i've seen. i'm wondering since i bought my evo 9 turbo used.. maybe i should try to to loosen the waste gate arm a turn or two.

i think i read a thread or some threads where you should get the O2 housing and or the turbine housing ported to help eliminate boost creep
